Bellinzona Switzerland's own Gilliet family, who have been friends with the Boutte's for over 15 years put together this album with John in Switzerland. John Boutte' on vocals, Nicholas Gilliet on drums and his brother Michel on piano. This is an excellent tribute to traditional Jazz favorites, including"That's my Desire", "When My Dreamboat Comes Home" and others including a beautiful cover of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely".

A beautiful album with John on vocals and Glenn Patscha on piano. The two work like a well-oiled machine, they make the classic "Scotch and Soda" their own. It is reminescent of the lounge days of Jazz, when the Blue Room at the Fairmont Hotel was open and you could see Billie Holiday performing live.

John is part of the New Orleans All-Star collaboration known as The New Orleans Social Club. Their CD "Sing Me Back Home" was released April 4th, 2007. They taped PBS's Austin City Limits, it airs in repeats now.
